Event:
The swimming competition will consist of male and female individual and team relay events in Bantam, Midget, Juvenile and Senior age categories. Special Olympic athletes born in 1992 or earlier will compete in an Open age category.
Competition:
Events are heats and finals. All relays, as well as the 800M freestyle and 1500M freestyle, will be run as timed finals.
Rules:
The most recent version of the Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur (FINA) rules and the Special Olympics Official General Rules will apply, unless otherwise stated in the NAIG Sport Technical Package.
Dates and Schedules: August 7, 8 & 9
Venue: Cowichan Centre
