Event:
The rifle shooting competition consists of male and female athletes in the Bantam, Midget, Juvenile and Senior age categories. Team events for teams of three will also be offered.
Competition:
The shooting range is fifty meters for all positions. Athletes will shoot sixty shots in the prone, standing and kneeling positions.
Each age category must enter all three events. A time limit of two hours, including sighting shots, is allocated all age categories.
Rules:
The most recent version of the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) rules will apply, with the following recommendation:
If the venue allows, an active coach will be allowed on the firing line for the youth competitions. The coach will be able to talk to the athlete and offer advice as to firing position, tactics, and sight adjustment, provided that they do not disturb other competitors, unless otherwise stated in the NAIG Sport Technical Package.
