Event:

The canoeing competition consists of male and female singles, doubles and mix doubles in the Bantam, Midget, Juvenile and Senior age categories.

Competition format is either finals or semi-finals/finals; or heats, semi-finals/finals, depending on the number of entries. There are no consolation races.

Jensen 17’ canoes will be used for this event. All competitors must use an approved lifejacket and/or PFD.

All races will begin with a mass start.

The most recent version of the Marathon Canoe Racing Competition Rules will apply, unless otherwise stated in the NAIG Sport Technical Package.
