The Closing Ceremonies will include messages from Games hosts, cultural festivities, athletic recognition and other components. The prestigious 2008 Games Overall Team Title will be awarded to the team that collects the highest medal count. There will also be a formal announcement of the next Host community for the Games.
The closing Ceremonies for the 2008 North American Indigenous Games will occur on on August 10, 2008 and will include cultural festivities, athletic recognition, messages from Games hosts, and other components.
The prestigious 2008 Games Overall Team Title will be awarded to the team with the highest medal count. And the John Fletcher Spirit Award will be presented to the team that best demonstrates the spirit of teamwork, fair play, respect, and integrity throughout the competition. There will also be a formal announcement of the next Host Community for the Games.
